Sharon King was born, raised, and married in Washington, D. C. After raising her three children, she and her husband, Mike, sold the family home and traveled the United States in an RV for 12 years. While traveling, Sharon attended many workshops, participated in art shows, and exhibited in galleries in South Carolina and the Florida Keys. Her formal training in painting consists of classes in community colleges in Maryland, and the Florida Keys.
